Supplier and object of the service

DishCost is a software service for professional businesses in the food sector. It allows you to organize ingredients, suppliers, semi-finished products, products, menus and sales and to process costs, food costs, margins and simulations.

The service is provided by Kaipix by Pirani Marco, with headquarters in Via Paisiello 12, 44042 Cento (FE), VAT number 02138120387, C.F. PRNMRC79D18C469X, PEC kaipix@pec.it.

Account and free trial

To use the application you must create an account by providing correct and updated information. Credentials are personal and must be protected; the user is responsible for the activities carried out through his account and must promptly report unauthorized access.

The free trial allows you to use the functions indicated on the Subscription page, within the limits shown in the application. Currently the main limit concerns the number of products and menus that can be saved: there is no automatic expiry simply due to the passage of time. The data entered during the test remains associated with the account.

Input data and calculation results

The user retains ownership of the company data entered and is responsible for their accuracy, lawfulness, completeness and updating. Must have the necessary rights to enter information relating to suppliers, collaborators or other subjects.

DishCost processes the results based on prices, quantities, units of measurement, rates, yields, waste, times, costs and objectives indicated by the user. Food costs, margins, minimum prices, projections and suggestions are management support indications: they do not constitute a guarantee of price, margin, profit or economic result, nor tax, accounting or commercial advice.

Before applying prices or making economic decisions, the user must verify data and results with respect to the concrete situation of the activity. The following also apply Calculation disclaimer, subject to specific and separate approval.

Plans, activation and payments

Plan features and limitations are described on the Subscription page. DishCost Annual has a duration of 12 months and an introductory price of €90, compared to the ordinary price indicated of €150. Payment can be made by bank transfer or PayPal according to the instructions shown or communicated during activation.

There is no automatic renewal and there are no recurring charges. Sixty days before the deadline the service will be able to send one or more reminders; automatic sending will be operational when the relevant function is completed. The user freely decides whether to renew by making a new payment.

Availability and updates

The provider undertakes to keep the service reasonably available, but may carry out urgent maintenance, updates or interventions. Some features listed as “coming soon” or “when available” are not yet part of the operational service and may change before release.

The service may be modified for technical, safety, regulatory or product evolution reasons, without retroactively reducing rights already accrued by the user.

Correct use and responsibility

You are prohibited from using DishCost for illegal activities, attempting unauthorized access, compromising the operation of the application, circumventing technical limitations, or using third-party data without title.

To the extent permitted by law, the supplier is not liable for economic decisions taken exclusively on the basis of the results of the application, for inaccurate data entered by the user, for unavailability due to external causes or for indirect damages and loss of profit. The responsibilities that cannot be excluded by law remain unchanged.

Account suspension and termination

Your account may be suspended in the event of a violation of these terms, a security risk, abusive use or failure to pay agreed amounts. Whenever possible, the user is informed and can remedy the violation.

The user can request the closure of the account by writing to support@dishcost.app. Before deletion it is recommended to export any necessary data. Storage and cancellation follow what is indicated in the privacy policy and legal obligations.

Intellectual property

DishCost software, interface, trademarks, content and documentation are property of their respective owners. The subscription grants a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the service for the intended professional purposes.

Applicable law and disputes

The terms are governed by Italian law. For disputes, the mandatory rules on jurisdiction established by law apply; in other cases the court of the supplier's headquarters is competent. The parties undertake, when possible, to seek an amicable solution before starting proceedings.

Changes and contacts

The terms may be updated due to service or regulatory changes. Substantial changes will be communicated to users and, when necessary, will require new acceptance.
